Description/Significance
JBS Construction Management is serving as the Owner’s Representative for the construction of the 10-23 Jackson Avenue Condominiums. The project consists of two distinct structures, one existing and one new, which will be combined into one building. The existing building is a 6,000 square foot residential structure that will be renovated into (6) condominiums and a commercial restaurant space on the ground level. The new building is approximately 32,000 square feet consisting of (22) condominium units.
The primary design approach of the new building is structural steel with precast plank flooring. The exterior skin of the building will contain glass, stone and masonry elements. JBS will deliver the condominium units to the market fully built-out. The general level of finishes in the condominium units and common spaces are very high throughout the project.
To meet the client’s schedule, JBS will be the working closely with the client, architect, and the contractors involved as these two buildings are built consecutively without any schedule interruptions.
