Description/Significance
JBS is the Project Manager for the renovation of this attached 4-story brownstone. The project consists of the conversion of the 6500 SF building from an 8-unit apartment building into 3 high-end condominiums, including the addition of a 500 SF Penthouse roof-top deck.
As Project Manager, JBS is managing the site acquisition, design, filing and permit process with the architect, engineers and all consultants to make sure the intended building is built in accordance with the intentions of the development team. JBS is managing the development process and all matters concerning the construction of the building. JBS will take the project from initial design through stabilized occupancy of the units. JBS will put together the sales and marketing program and J-51 tax abatements.
Unit 1 is comprised of the cellar, garden level and first floor, unit 2 the second floor, and unit three is made up of the third floor and penthouse roof addition. Each unit is self-contained with individual electrical, hot water, and gas services. The interior will be outfitted with high quality brand appliances and fixtures including Wolf and Sub Zero, marble countertops, and hardwood flooring.
The target market for the development is young families, as well as those looking for a contemporary living experience in a classic Brooklyn Brownstone. The project is located in one of Brooklyn’s most charming Historic Districts. |
