Description/Significance

JBS is serving as the owner’s representative for the renovation and expansion of the Yeshivah of Flatbush. The School has retained JBS to undertake this project, intended to bring the school’s facilities into the 21st century, with state of the art technology, expanded capacity for increased enrollment, and proposed LEED certification. JBS is acting as agent for the school to oversee and drive the design, preconstruction, permitting, and construction process in tandem with school officials, board members, and the project team to ensure seamless progression of the project through a complex design and construction process.

The project schedule is uniquely tailored to the client’s needs, taking into account religious considerations and keeping the school fully operational while both upgrading the existing facilities and building a new 30,000 SF facility. JBS is also assisting the school on its fundraising, financing, and tax incentive initiatives for the renovation and expansion.
