Description/Significance

JBS Project Management has been hired by the Thompson Group to work as a consultant in the renovation of this Beverly Hills Hotel. The hotel is currently a Best Western Hotel and is positioned to be rebranded as a “Thompson Boutique Hotel”.

The renovation includes a complete upgrade of the 106 rooms, including new wood floors, new bathrooms, state of the art audio visual equipment and completely redesigned corridors. On the 8th floor JBS will manage the construction of 2 new penthouse suites, while the exterior of the building will be completely redesigned to include a new stone facade and new balcony glass railings throughout. The completely redesigned rooftop includes the construction of a new deck for the pool and a fitness center for the guests.

JBS is responsible for managing all aspects of the pre-development, pre-construction and construction of the project. Working with the design consultants and construction manager, JBS will be in charge of coordination and overall project management of this very difficult renovation of an existing hotel.
