Description/Significance

JBS Project Management, Inc. has been hired by LaSalle Hotel Properties to work as the Project Managers in the renovation of this Financial District Hotel. The hotel is currently a Holiday Inn Hotel and is positioned to be re-branded as a luxury hotel serving lower Manhattan.

The project includes the interior renovation of the existing 74,000 sq ft hotel. All 126 rooms in the hotel will be renovated, along with a new lobby, mezzanine and a Todd English restaurant. The hotel will remain active throughout the accelerated construction process and all coordination and logistics fall under the responsibility of JBS.

Additional scope of work on the project include assembling the design team, managing the design process, Department of Buildings filing and approvals, hiring and management of the General Contractor, FF&E purchasing and installation and coordination of the ICIP tax abatement.

Working with the design consultants and construction manager, JBS will be in charge of coordination and overall project management of this renovation of a hotel while overall hotel operations continue uninterrupted.
